The picture quality is fine for a kid. My kids can easily see the pic they took, and have no trouble using it. Watch for sales on these through amazon. They have dropped it, thrown it, etc. It still works like brand new. We have had this camera for 2 years, and for 2 children ages 4 and 2. My kids love it. We bought it for $29 the day after Thanksgiving with free shipping.
The camera seems to be durable but it is very slow the pictures have a low quality. However, the children enjoy using it, especially because of the games on it.
My 6 year son old has CP and absolutely loves his camera. Its a great "cause and effect" product, and very durable.
This camera however has been disappointing so far. We had a terrific first experience with our v-tech camera so when it finally gave out we bought another to replace it. I'm not sure if it's a lemon, but we've had a few issues so we are planning on returning it - what a pain.
You could see water inside the view finder and on the screen. But, man, is this thing ever tough. However, I took the batteries out and dried it as best I could for 5 days. It has been dropped on the tile floor many times without breaking. Like most reviews say, the picture quality is not good.
My 3 kids play with it frequently. It was completely submerged. I was certain it had finally met its demise. My daughter gets frustrated with blurry pictures if she is not holding the camera completely still. I bought this camera for my daughter 2 years ago.
Last week, my 3 year old son put the camera in the bathtub. Today, I put the batteries back in and much to my surprise it STILL WORKS.
